Marcus Patterson Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Miquel, these are great. It's great to add new photographers to our visual vocabulary. I particularly love Alex Webb and William Eggleston. Phillip-Lorca diCorcia is pretty remarkable!
Premium Member Miguel Angel Posted May 5, 2016 Author Premium Member Posted May 5, 2016 Bill, the very first time I went to MOMA there was a Helen Levitt exhibition and I was amazed by it! Thanks for posting those three old ones! :) Marcus, I knew Alex Webb, I didn't know William Eggleston and I'm glad you decided to share his website! He is great! :) Philip Lorca Dicorcia is a character on his own! :) http://www.artspace.com/magazine/interviews_features/meet_the_artist/philip-lorca-dicorcia-interview-52722 http://www.xatakafoto.com/eventos/philip-lorca-dicorcia-el-maestro-de-la-luz-artificial-y-su-master-class-en-alcobendas The second link is a talk that Dicorcia gave in Alcobendas, Spain a while ago.. it is in Spanish but you can listen to Dicorcia in English before the girl translates his words :) Worth watching! :) Thank you!!

Premium Member George Ebersole Posted August 9, 2017 Premium Member Posted August 9, 2017 Ansel Adams nature photography was something I wanted to duplicate in projects. Having spent a lot of time in the Sierras and Rockies as a boy, I see mountains and forests the way he does, though I certainly don't have anywhere his skill to capture those images.
