Premium Member Mark Kenfield Posted July 28, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted July 28, 2016 Very nice Prashantt. Looks like a Sundance Darling circa the mid-late '90s!
Premium Member Will Montgomery Posted August 5, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted August 5, 2016 How refreshing to see 16mm on an indie. Your project will stand out just for that. Great shots in there. Congratulations.
Prashantt Rai
Thanks to all of you for kind words. The director also believed that S-16 would be ideal for this kind of project. I sincerely hope the films see the light of the day, one day! :-)
Prashantt Rai
How refreshing to see 16mm on an indie. Your project will stand out just for that. Great shots in there. Congratulations. can you recommend some festivals where low budget Indie shot on S-16, with no celebrity value, would be welcome? Another feature I worked on S-16 is almost ready now. It's a low budget Bollywood Indie. I should be able to post the trailer in a fortnight maybe. and my documentary on a sailboat, also shot on S16, is still in the making. I would be happy to hear from members of forum and experienced cinematographers as to what kind of film festivals I should aim for. cheers everyone. Samuel Berger
So is it a remake of the Lord of the Rings trilogy? I see a lot of walking and walking and walking... ;-) Some very good shots in this. It's interesting, 16mm used to be the norm for indie films. Now it stands out.
