  1. Be wiling to bet that a power equipment rental or...even better any place that rents and repairs generators will do this for you. Multipquip, Kohler, Baldor, aggreko, cat, cummins.....
  2. Have you looked inside the panel? Trace the wiring of the 120/240 switch, look at the diagrams Ed linked to and try to understand the logic of how all the outputs of the inverter are connected to various outlets. Why do you get a combo of 120 and 240? Why do you get only 120? Terms of service here prevent being more explicit. Any licensed Electrician friends? Show them the info and ask them to explain how a transformer, center tapped on it's output works with regard to voltage and current. It's not rocket science.
  3. What's the ceiling/roof framed with? Wood 2x lumber, steel I beams, trusses? What does the entire camera rig weigh? How mobil, if any does it have to be? When these considerations were being discusses, where was your grip?
  4. No, don't do a hack job like that. Have you thoroughly digested the Honda manual and the circuit diagrams in it? If yes, you have the information needed to add a 60A bates, if you possess the metalworking ability to add the 60A panel mount bates an the wiring to connect it to the output of the inverter.
  5. Hard to say for sure. Westcott is a US based company manufacturing equipment since 1900 and Aladdin is a Koean based company founded in ?? Who is copying who?
  6. Does these lights have accessory ears? Determine the inside measurement and hunt FleaBay for scrims that fit.
  7. Either there a some rough spots or burrs on the screw or the screw is bent from being over-tightened by a gorilla.
  8. 4Wall in Moonachi, NJ, repair done in house. Or Arri in Seacacus, but your ballast will be sent to Blauvelt, NY for repair
  9. Buy one of these, attach with rubber band, level every time. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Empire-5-1-4-in-Polycast-Post-Level-720/100124903
  10. Who among those posting here, quoting and interpreting NEC code holds an Electrician's license?
  11. Are you certain they are T12's and not T8's? Lots of places upgraded existing fixtures years ago and T8 would most likely be electronic ballasts, possible high frequency versions. Another scout, a close look and a test shoot.
  12. A device drawing 20A/2400W would have a dedicated type outlet? Likewise a 15A device? Seems that it would take a lot of planning before wiring a room or a business premise. Over here the wire and all the devices must be rated to handle the maximum continuous current of the breaker.
  13. The circuit might be rated at 20A, but the sockets are rated at 10A? In the USA that's a electrical code violation. A 2k, not figuring in resistance of the cable, should draw 8.33A at 240vac.
  14. Gripheads, with minimal care and maintenance, since they are cast Al, should last virtually forever. Were that not true you wouldn't see used but fully functional American Grip, Matthews, Modern, Norms and even Mole gripheads for sale. Impact gripheads will be in the scrapyard.
  15. Where do I put all the spare arms and heads? Why big skinny fixed wheels and tiny swivel casters? Those hard tires won't absorb bumps. I can see the clips breaking on a job, then what? Carry spares? Wouldn't fly for a rental design.
  16. POS made in China. Looks like a poor copy of an American Grip head. Many complaints about not tightening or staying tight, etc, etc. Look at what most lighting and grip houses send out, that's hardware that lasts.
  17. A 100A lunchbox has a 100A male bates input, how are you going to connect that to your 60A feeder. You need to get 60A lunchboxes which have only 3 circuits.
  18. His test is the spreader up against a plywood wall. A different scenario than the same spreader against a plaster or sheetrock wall. The plywood isn't going to crush or crumble as pressure is applied.
  19. Double ended tubular lamp. In a spacelight I don't see how orientation would be an issue. Do you dim them up and down or are they full-mains power on? You should get at least 100 hours burn time or better. Check your mains voltage as well, is it on the high side?
  20. Will the load be at the center of the 11 and a half feet or more towards one end? That will be one factor in determining the amount he wood will defect at a given load. What type of wood? SPF, "white wood", something else? Kiln dried or S-Grn? Are the base plates of the spreader directly over a stud or do you intend to use scabbing to bridge the studs?
  21. Oops, my mistake. However Max Field doesn't appear to be the real member's name either.
  22. Okay, 650w halogen array, globes switchable to FAY daylight globes.
