  1. I have CP mount lenses for sale. Email me if you're interested.
  2. Can you post or send me a picture of the pack with the top cover off. JL
  3. If you have the battery containers they can be re-celled. It's pretty straightforward. Forget Batteries Plus. There are two different types, one uses two stacks of 5 flat cells and the other is ten AAs. Which one do you have. Jean-Louis
  4. Center is plus (7.2V) Edge is minus Middle is for 3.6V for lens motors.
  5. I am pretty sure that Kinetals under 50mm do not cover the super-16 frame.
  6. If your camera still has the original Aaton mount, I have a M42 to Aaton adapter for sale. PM me if you like.
  7. Beaulieu R16 cameras with a large zoom lens usually have the turret screwed down in two places to increase rigidity. Of course it can no longer rotate.
  8. There was an after market eyepiece marketed by Kish Optics that would provide greater magnification. Might take a bit of searching to find.
  9. Has anyone purchased the "JK viewfinder for Bolex H16 Rex camera" that is illustrated on this page: http://www.jkcamera.com/Super16.htm Are you happy with this product? How would you rate it? Members can answer me by PM if they like. Cheers, Jean-Louis
  10. Inserting the key swings the filter out of the optical path.
  11. The 12-120mm is designed to cover the 16mm frame only. What camera are you using?
  12. I order packs from batteryspace regularly and I am satisfied with their quality. Charger should work fine.
  13. Yes, it is normal. There is only one motor for both film advance and zooming. Using the power zoom allows the main motor to drive the lens barrel from wide to tele.
  14. Oh, don't worry about that. I'm happy that Andrew was able to confirm that the motor can safely take a higher voltage. Your best bet would a 13.2V pack (11 NiMH cells). At full charge without load, it'll be 15.4V, just under the max of 15.6V.
  15. Andrew will certainly know the maximum voltage the ACL II can take. I'm always cautious on older equipment and prefer to stay safe.
  16. From the same seller: eBay 231757560127 Will work fine.
  17. Yes that battery is good. I assume the seller must also have compatible chargers.
  18. I have that gear. Contact me by PM. Jean-Louis
  19. No Luca. I'm afraid you misunderstood. You should avoid Li-Ion batteries altogether for these older cine cameras. Get a NiMH pack instead. If it was a more modern camera that is built to take higher input voltage, only then would I suggest a 14.8V Li-Ion battery pack. I would not take a chance to feed 14.8V into a camera with older electronics like the ACL. You can also use a 12V Sealed Lead Acid battery which is cheaper but quite heavy. Or if you just want to tests you can kook up two of these 6V batteries: http://www.amazon.it/Tecxus-IBT-T4LR25-Batteria-Alcalina-4LR25/dp/B00LUEOAOW/ref=sr_1_32?ie=UTF8&qid=1450985744&sr=8-32&keywords=6v+batteria+alcalina Jean-Louis
  20. Actually, in your picture, several of the baffles are missing. There should be about six I think.
  21. The only super-8 camera ever offered with built-in crystal sync was the Beaulieu 6008 Pro and the 7008 Pro. Otherwise many cameras were modified to crystal control after the fact by various service providers. Crystal sync audio recorders were also offered at this time. I have a lot of information about these systems if you need more specifics.
  22. It is dishonest by the manufacturer to list these as 12V packs. Their nominal voltage is 11.1VDC. The Eclair motor needs a bare minimum of 11V to run at accurate speed. Get a 12V NiCd or NiMH pack instead. At least 5Ah. This is assuming your camera is clean and properly maintained. If however your camera is gummed up, it will take a lot more power to advance the film.
  23. Every element in the viewfinder tube is upgraded not only to increase magnification but increase brightness too. First element after groundglass is different also.
