John Holland
Its great what they are doing ,but i need colour neg not reversal .
Todd Anderson
I'm waiting for color negative from them, as well. But I'm sure negative stocks are in the works, and once everything is up and running, would be the next stocks in line. I imagine with Kodak discontinuing their color reversal (especially in small formats), Ferrania saw it as an opportunity to not only fill a hole, but to also say that they were providing for a nitch market (including enthusiasts) from the get go, versus just providing stock for commercial features, i.e, what Kodak is currently doing. Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted October 1, 2014 Premium Member Share Posted October 1, 2014 I'm personally thrilled about having a new slide film come to market, since in stills, it was pretty much the only thing I shot.
Site Sponsor Robert Houllahan Posted October 1, 2014 Site Sponsor Share Posted October 1, 2014 I think it's good that there is Orwo for B&W and Ferrina for color in addition to Kodak.
Kenny N Suleimanagich
I think this is a first-run since it's the last emulsion they produced and the fastest to get to market. Also, for those of us who cannot shoot with Estar stocks, having a reversal film on acetate will be great. Not to mention scotchchrome looks like it will be a lot less grainy than Wittnerchrome. Prashantt Rai
Yes, I made a pledge and contributed towards 100 more years of analog film. Â and as Todd Anderson says, those film packaging hits the write note - vintage and Panama cut cigarettes.
Premium Member Jeremy Cavanagh Posted October 5, 2014 Premium Member Share Posted October 5, 2014 Just made a pledge. Â I'm impressed by the video and I hope the Ferrania people are budgeting for contingencies in moving the equipment e.g. 20% on top of estimated costs at least. Josh Gladstone
According to Kicktraq projections, which apparently is a thing, they're going to reach the goal in 4 or 5 days. Neat! Edited October 8, 2014 by Josh Gladstone

Completely optional. All that is required is the shipping fee.
